A Place for Gear Notes
Why a living record of hardware, software, services, references, and tools is useful.
Gear notes are useful when they stay honest.
What did I buy? What did I stop using? What solved a real problem? What looked promising but added friction? What settings or accessories made the difference?
That applies to computers, servers, networking gear, AI hardware, software, cloud services, cameras, editing tools, guitars, dog training equipment, sword references, books, and everyday tech.
The value is not a static list of possessions. The value is a record of fit: what works for the way I actually build, practice, learn, and maintain things.
The Uses page should become that record over time.
